About Chobe Game Lodge
The only lodge inside Chobe National Park on the riverfront, offering exclusive, world-class safari experiences.
Botswana's Premier Riverside Safari Lodge
Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent safari lodge inside Chobe National Park, and its riverfront location is arguably the finest in Southern Africa. Sitting directly on the banks of the Chobe River, the lodge commands front-row views of one of the world's greatest wildlife concentrations — vast elephant herds, hippo pods, buffalo, lion, leopard, and the enormous crocodiles that patrol the river.
Accommodation
River-Facing Rooms — 44 rooms and suites, all facing the Chobe River. Air conditioning, en-suite bathroom, private patio, minibar, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, with a classic safari-lodge aesthetic.
Suites — Premium suites with expanded living areas, upgraded amenities, and direct river views.
Safari Activities
Game Drives — Morning and afternoon drives along the Chobe riverfront, where elephant concentrations can reach several thousand animals in the dry season. Lion, leopard, wild dog, buffalo, sable, and roan are all present.
Boat Safaris — The signature Chobe experience. Electric boats glide silently along the river, giving intimate water-level views of elephants swimming, hippos lounging, and fish eagles hunting.
Photography Safaris — Specialised photographic boats with beanbag supports and optimal positioning for wildlife photography.
Birding — Over 450 species recorded; the river attracts spectacular concentrations of waterbirds.
